Beta: this tool always preserves your original handwritten pages. Optional local recognition uses a print-oriented OCR model, so its text must be reviewed rather than treated as an authoritative transcription.

Frequently asked questions
▸Does it read my handwriting automatically?
Optionally. Tesseract is optimized for printed text, so handwriting mode is Beta, reports low confidence, preserves the original scan, and also exports recognized text for manual correction.
